FEBRUARY Friday 15thdavid ashley
The John Hoople Memorial Cabaret Evening. David Ashley presents his tribute to Frank Sinatra. This is a cabaret style evening with food served during the interval. Admission by ticket only
MARCH Friday 15th Our Annual General Meeting which will be followed by cheese and wine, and non-alcoholic juices, plus an entertaining talk by George Barnes.  We do hope that you will be able to attend, and perhaps become interested in helping us with ideas or even practical help. If that is not your scene, just come and enjoy the company for an evening! It is always good to meet and chat on these social occasions.

APRIL Friday 19thCantique

We welcome Cantique, a choir who presented our Christmas concert in 2011. They are going to entertain us with songs from the shows, and from various other sources, and I am sure that James, their conductor will have some interesting and amusing stories to tell. Put the date in your diary.
MAY Friday 17th Will bring us a taste of Spain. We welcome Trio Classico who promise to help you experience the warmth and vibrancy of Spain. The trio includes a pianist, a guitarist and a singer. They have appeared all over the U.K. for Arts Associations, The National Trust and Festivals, also touring abroad. Ole! (Sombreros and fancy hats not necessary…)
JUNE Friday 14th The Recorder group Fontanelle present a concert for one of the local schools in the afternoon, and Melling Tithebarn in the evening.  They are world famous and will showcase an amazing repertoire for the recorder ensemble. Do not miss this evening. Music will be from all the great periods from medieval to the present day. Something perhaps to remind us all of our days at school when I am sure many of us exercised our skills at recorder playing. (Come and hear how it should be done!)
SEPTEMBER Friday 20th Library Theatre present “Talking Heads” by Alan Bennett.
OCTOBER Friday 18th Michael Lunts
NOVEMBER Friday 15th Sefton Theatre Company.
DECEMBER Friday 20th Occasional Singers
